Real Estate Litigation Specialist - TACS

The Real Estate Litigation Specialist will provide full-time comprehensive litigation support to seven attorneys in the real estate litigation department of a tax collection law firm. The Real Estate Litigation Specialist is responsible for managing cases through the entirety of the tax sale litigation process. This includes identifying parcels that qualify for sale, preparing the proper notice advertisements, ordering and reviewing titles, preparing and filing Complaints and all supporting litigation documents, coordinating and scheduling hearings, preparing and conducting auctions, and closing out sales after confirmation by the court. Primary responsibilities will include: title review, research, drafting correspondence and court pleadings, case tracking, file maintenance, and general tax collection duties.

Candidates must have demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to analyze and understand what they are reading and preparing at an advanced level. Attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to work independently, strong verbal and written communication skills, and superb organizational skills are essential.

Civil Litigation and/or Title Review experience is helpful, but not necessary, as extensive training is provided. The ideal candidate is a hard worker who is eager to learn and willing to accept guidance.
