Property that does not sell at auction the first time is held to be offered for sale at the next auction, whenever that may be. Property cannot be offered for sale privately, since the locality does not take ownership of the property. You may, however, be able to get the property for a lower bid at a resale versus the first sale. Bid acceptance is at the discretion of the locality.
